As you may know, I am creating a Bespoke Insider’s Tour to Bordeaux for May 9-15, 2026, for you to experience the beauty of the Bordeaux region, its food, wine, and connection with my friends there – this is what The Bordeaux Kitchen is all about!
6 Day Wine Tour
During this six-day tour, we’ll have the time to explore the region after delicious French breakfasts at our lovely Villa in the medieval village of Saint-Émilion every morning. We’ll explore a few appellations, tasting food and wine, cooking, learning about French wine and cheese, and we will enjoy the pleasures of the table the way the French have defined them!
The Bespoke Insider’s Tour to Bordeaux is limited to 8 participants. (Only 4 spots left as of posting!) We will be living in a Villa within the walls of the quaint cobblestoned Saint-Émilion. Our days will be filled with visits and tastings, history and tradition! You will be able to explore the Old Town of Bordeaux as well, with its vibrant shops and cafés, and soak in the flavors throughout each day.
Bordeaux is the regional capital, located in the state of Aquitaine. We will be staying in a lovely villa located within the medieval walls of UNESCO-protected Saint-Émilion for six nights, May 9-15, 2026. With day trips to Bordeaux, the Graves region, Sauternes, Barsac, and around Saint-Émilion, you will have an in-depth look at some of the most famous wine appellations of Bordeaux, its vineyards, and its history
In 2022, I debuted my “food tours” with a 6-day tour to Bordeaux for seven friends and friends of friends, where I got to introduce them to my French friends. The tour was focused on women in wine, and as it turns out, my upcoming May 2026 Bespoke Tour to Bordeaux will be largely focused on women (and families) in wine. You are not going to want to miss this!
- Tour with my adopted French family at their historic underground cellar in Saint-Émilion and a tasting (dégustation) of their superbly crafted wines
- Tour the majestic underground historic monuments and the church of Saint-Émilion
- Tour historic Bordeaux on foot with food tastings at the Capucins central market
- Experience my signature “Tour de France of French Cheeses” paired with regional wines at our lovely villa, to learn about their flavors, styles, and serving rituals
- Cook French meals together at the Villa – learn how to expertly prepare a duck breast for Magret de Canard à l’Orange
- Participate in a grape varietals workshop after a private visit to a Château in the Barsac appellation, home to some of France’s most exquisite sweet wines

- Eat at a lovely restaurant in Sauternes to get a glimpse of this famous and beautiful sweet wine appellation

- Take a guided tour and gourmet tasting of cheese, ham and chocolate paired with the graceful wines of a special Château in the Graves/Pessac-Léognan appellation
- Learn wine tasting basics in an intimate setting at the Villa with one of my excellent wine school classmates
- Taste chocolate made by a young artisan with her own shop in Saint-Émilion
Happening May 9-15, 2026 – This tour will be an immersion into an insider’s Bordeaux – one that you would not find any other way but with me! It’s an opportunity to meet people you would not otherwise get to meet on a regular tour to the area. I have made special connections with unique people in this area, and together we will create amazing wine, food, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences in Saint-Émilion and Bordeaux.
